Tennessee 4-H is beyond blessed with generous donors and sponsors. Folks from all over the state and from so many diverse organizations give their time, talents and gifts to better the future of our country through Tennessee 4-H’ers. These students can afford to attend 4-H camp, which sparks their interest from a young age. Some are granted scholarships and thrive in college and eventually in their careers. Others receive awards and recognition for their outstanding project work or service projects. Tennessee 4-H is able to do the incredible work it does because of the generous sponsors.
However, you might be thinking, “I don’t have any time and not much money to give,” but every bit of every gift given to Tennessee 4-H is welcomed and appreciated. Don’t let that feeling keep you from making the best better in your community and in this organization.

Local Involvement
You might not be the best livestock coach or an experienced canner, but what talents do you have? Your county program can most likely use your help. You can volunteer to work at fundraising events, drive members to practice or contests, or coach a team or two in an area you know. Teach a cooking class or offer to help with the local Honor Club’s service projects. However great or small, your talents are welcome in 4-H.

State Involvement
The Tennessee 4-H Foundation and Alumni organization offers several events throughout the year where you can help. In the spring, attend the Tennessee 4-H Alumni and Friends Reunion to meet other active volunteers and friends of 4-H. Enjoy good food and better fellowship while gaining ideas to support the youth organization.
In the late summer, attend the fourth annual Picnic at the Fair to help raise funds for 4-H’ers in all 95 counties to attend 4-H camp. The event is filled with food and fun while supporting future 4-H’ers. Mark your calendar for Aug. 15 for the 2025 event and visit tn4hfoundation.org/picnic to register.
