Julia Finchum Charline Powell Volunteer Leader Recognition 2025

Julia Finchum of Jefferson County is the 2025 recipient of the Charline Hamilton Powell Outstanding Volunteer Award, thanks to her hard work as a 4-H volunteer leader since 2019 with the sewing and poultry projects. Finchum’s passion for youth developing life skills, communication, responsibility, leadership and more is truly evident through her work and involvement in 4-H. She is a leader in her county and an active member of the Jefferson County 4-H Volunteer Committee and the Jefferson County Fair.

Throughout her volunteer career, she has led fundraisers, organized camps and conferences, and promoted 4-H throughout the county. With the award, Finchum received a trip to National 4-H Congress in Atlanta in 2025.
