Tennessee Farmers Cooperative celebrated 25 years of the commemorative 4-H and FFA Case Knife Program.
Tennessee Farmers Cooperative (TFC) is a member-owned agricultural cooperative headquartered in La Vergne with deep roots in Southeastern U.S. agriculture. Founded to serve farmers, TFC continues to do so every day, but today’s Co-op goes beyond just farmers. With more than 160 retail stores across Tennessee and neighboring states, TFC proudly serves hundreds of thousands of rural customers.
At the center of it all is TFC, owned by 40 local Co-ops in Tennessee and 27 contract patrons in nearby states. These local Co-ops are owned by their farmer-members, who are more than 50,000 strong. This local ownership means each store is tuned in to its community and staffed by people who understand the land, seasons and people they serve.
Selling Knives, Changing Lives
Whether you’re buying feed, boots, fencing, fertilizer or fuel, you’ll find high-quality products, competitive pricing and a knowledgeable team ready to assist. The Tennessee Farmers Cooperative Foundation (TFCF) serves as the philanthropic arm of TFC, fostering future generations of ag leaders, serving local communities and supporting faith-based initiatives.

“Supporting 4-H is essential for nurturing the next generation of leaders. It equips our youth with valuable skills and experiences that foster innovation and resilience,” says TFCF Executive Director Claire Hill. “By investing in 4-H, we are not just shaping individuals, we are strengthening our communities and ensuring a vibrant future for all.”
TFC leadership firmly believes that supporting 4-H is crucial for cultivating strong, capable leaders who will shape the future of agriculture and rural communities. Through its support of 4-H, TFC helps provide young people with hands-on learning experiences that develop essential life skills, foster a sense of responsibility and encourage civic engagement. These programs not only enrich individual participants but also create a ripple effect that benefits families, communities and agriculture.
